Yearly Happenings
The rodeo is a three/four day extravaganza held each year at the ELKS-UNOCAL EVENT CENTER in Santa Maria. During each three- hour performance you'll enjoy six adrenaline-rushing PRCA events, including bull and bronc riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, bareback riding, WPRA barrel racing, local team roping, and mutton bustin'. You'll experience rodeo's top announcers, bull riders, barrelmen and stock contractors.

Strawberry Festival
This Festival encourages the healthy indulgence of strawberries and supports our agriculture in a fun filled community event. It showcase local talent, offer arts and crafts, as well as commercial displays, auto thrill shows, rodeo, amusement rides, cooking demonstrations, educational exhibits, fun food including many variations of the strawberry all in a wholesome and entertaining atmosphere sure to delight the entire family.
Santa Barbara County Festival
This county fair celebrating agriculture, community organizations, youth and local accomplishments, and hometown pride. It alsoshowcases local talent, offer arts and crafts, as well as commercial displays, auto thrill shows, rodeo, amusement rides, cooking demonstrations, educational exhibits, fun food, and the local 4-H livestock.

The entrance by the Central Coast Jet Center, 1211 Citation Court. To reach the entrance, take Highway 135 to Foster Road and turn right on South Blosser Road.
Located at at the Santa Maria Public Airport. The Aircraft demonstrations on the south side of the airfield with Attendees are invited to bring their own lawn chairs.
Santa Maria Parade Of Lights
The Parade of Lights continues its Christmas tradition with marching bands, community floats, lots of beautiful Christmas lights and Santa Claus. The parade begins around 5 p.m. from Stowell Road up to Cook Street. Spectators are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs to watch the festivities.
Orcutt Christmas Parade South Bradley and Clark Ave. Noon
Presented by the Orcutt and Santa Maria Lions Clubs and coordinated by the Orcutt Community Foundation to promote the holiday spirit in Old Town Orcutt. Great fun for the whole family, this parade is a Christmas tradition featuring an eclectic mix of kids, dogs, classic cars, horses, floats and bands. This parade will happen rain or shine.
